Massport Logan International Airport Terminal BRDK worked directly with Massport to install fire sprinklers in Boston’s Logan Airport Terminal B. This installation added sprinklers to sections of the Terminal that were without fire safety systems. The completed design will allow the entire Terminal to have interconnecting fire services. RDK and Massport’s main focus was to enhance the safety of passengers and staff while in Terminal B. The newly enhanced life safety design will improve the Boston Fire Department’s ability to pump water from any location at the exterior of the Terminal. The design team was able to work in the highly occupied facility without impacting existing day to day airline operations. RDK is proud to continue its relationship with Massport and to be able to enhance the life safety features throughout Logan International Airport. |
