Cell Signaling Commissioning

Cell Signaling Technology (CST) is a company dedicated to providing innovative research tools that are used to help define what causes some underlying cell functions and disease. When CST decided to transform a building that was formerly an inn into their new headquarters, their goal was to build a high-performance building and keep sustainability as a key area of focus.  CST hired a design team who helped them create a state-of-the-art facility that ultimately achieved a LEED Gold rating; and they brought in the RDK Commissioning Team to make sure all systems were functional, safe, and efficient.

The RDK Team provided Commissioning Services in the construction and post-construction phases for this project.  RDK, CST and the Columbia Construction team coordinated closely on project goals, enabling the integration of several sustainable design components.  RDK ensured that commissioning activities were scheduled, and the commissioning requirements and expectations for the project were established and met. The RDK team also developed a Commissioning Test Plan, identifying specific systems and equipment to be commissioned and tested. The Test Plan was updated throughout the project and utilized as a communication tool to track commissioning progress.  The open and ongoing communication between CST, Columbia, and RDK was surely a driving force behind the overall success of this project.
