Hard Rock Café Boston Restaurant

Hard Rock Café Boston

The new Hard Rock Café in Boston is a 16,000 square foot, well-known, music-themed restaurant that sits in the heart of the city’s pulsating Faneuil Hall Marketplace. The facility includes three dining areas, two bars, a retail store, an outdoor terrace, and a cutting-edge, live musical performance stage. A typical summer evening finds throngs of patrons dining on the popular outdoor terrace, enjoying good food and cheer, all while they wait with piqued anticipation for their favorite musical performer to take the stage inside.

Working with Cambridge Seven Architects, RDK Engineers provided system design and construction administration services for the new club, which had moved from its original Copley Square location. RDK’s design work included an in-depth evaluation of code requirements for occupancy; design for kitchen hoods, fans, and oven venting; new lighting and fire alarms; new natural gas distribution system; and ducted air conditioning for all seating areas.

RDK is proud to have been part of the design team that has brought a world-class, and uber-popular restaurant/entertainment destination to the heart of Boston for all to enjoy.
