Foley Hoag, a major Boston law firm with over 400 employees, occupies 220,000 SF of class A office space on 7 floors at the World Trade Center West. RDK designed MEP/FP systems for fit-out of the space to serve a variety of usages, some requiring special consideration and systems designs. Among these are:
- A 1,200 SF raised-floor main computer room, with satellite tel/data closets on every floor
- Multiple state-of-the-art videoconferencing and training facilities
- Full cooking kitchen with fire suppression system and walk-in refrigeration
- Direct Digital Controlled HVAC system with fan-powered VAV boxes with electric re-heat fully integrated into an energy management system
RDK developed flexible systems that could accommodate Foley Hoag's planned growth and allow them to take full advantage of new technologies.
