The new Bartlett Center at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which houses the university's Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid offices, features two-story, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, a large reception area, multimedia presentation room, and administrative offices. RDK was responsible for design and commissioning of energy efficient, sustainable building systems for the new 15,000 SF building, which has received USGBC LEED certification. Also included in the project, the first piece of WPI's new Master Plan to be implemented, is a 500 vehicle underground parking garage, allowing expansion of pedestrian green space in the school's central Quadrangle above.
