The University of Massachusetts Amherst hired RDK Engineers to conduct a 24 Residence Hall fire protection study. Based on this study, RDK was retained to lead a multi-disciplined design team and implement several fire protection upgrade/repair projects within a number of buildings campus-wide under an on-going House Doctor contract with the University. RDK has completed over 10 projects through this contract, and has lead a team of engineers, as well as architectural, civil, and hazmat abatement consultants. These projects varied in size, scope and complexity and included design of new fire suppression and fire detection systems in several residence halls and other buildings.
