Curry College, located on a 137-acre campus just outside of Boston, has been rapidly expanding its facilities to accommodate its growing residential student population. RDK has been a strong partner in the College’s growth, designing building systems for three newly-constructed facilities on the campus in recent years. The 48,000 SF South Campus Residence Hall, which houses 170 students in modern suite-style units, and the 48,000 SF Brush Hill Road Residence Hall, a beautiful new facility that accommodates 150 students and also includes classrooms and a bookstore, were both completed as design-build projects under extremely aggressive 6-month schedules. RDK’s latest project for Curry is a new 63,000 SF Student Center, with kitchen/dining facilities, a gymnasium, bookstore, fitness center, meeting rooms, and offices.
