Bunker Hill Community College’s new $22.7 million, 48,000 SF Health and Wellness Center is a state-of-the art classroom and laboratory facility housing the college’s healthcare academic programs, including nursing, medical imaging, respiratory therapy and surgical technology. The building, which also contains a gymnasium, fitness center and administrative offices, is designed to meet LEED Silver certification requirements. Sustainable features include systems that conserve water and reduce energy requirements for heating and cooling.
