Turner Hill in Ipswich, MA is a 300 acre luxury residential and recreational development located on the site of a former historic estate. Plans for the $70 million mixed-use project include 230 residential units, a hotel, an 18-hole golf course, and a corporate campus.
RDK designed MEP/FP and telecommunications systems for the 121,000 SF first phase of the development, which entails master planning and design for a mix of multi-family residential buildings, including 4-6 story flats and groups of townhouses.
Designs were developed for heating, cooling, central domestic hot water, domestic cold water, sanitary waste, vent, and natural gas systems for 18 townhouses, 32 flats, and "common" spaces.
Fire protection systems include automatic sprinklers throughout the complex. Telecommunications systems feature a high-speed backbone and horizontal distribution with telephone and high-speed broadband multimedia connectivity.
