The latest addition to this major insurance company’s 224-acre Corporate Campus in Dover, NH is a $50 million, 352,000 SF, 4-story building that will house over 2000 workers. RDK provided MEP/FP and telecommunications engineering services for shell and core design and interior fit-up of the state-of-the art, IT-intensive facility, which is to be LEED certified.
RDK evaluated numerous sustainable technologies for potential use on the project, a number of which were incorporated into the final design. They include:

Use of raised access floor technology with integrated UFAD systems in 75% of the facility, permitting increased flexibility for reorganization of space as well as LEED credit for IAQ

Radiant slab heating in the reception/lobby area

Low pressure ductwork distribution systems, requiring less horsepower from motors because of reduced static pressure, conserving energy and lowering building operating costs
