Building systems design for fit-up of 176,000 SF of first class office, R&D, manufacturing, and warehouse space, to serve as new corporate headquarters for Cytyc (now Hologic) a leading developer and manufacturer of medical devices. The extensive renovations required for conversion of what formerly had been all office space into over 6,000 SF of state-of-the-art laboratory space, simulated clean rooms for filter manufacturing, instrument assembly areas, a data center, and training facilities, were completed in just 6 1/2 months.
RDK also designed building systems for subsequent expansion of the headquarters facility to over 220,000 SF to accommodate a new Surgical Products Business Unit, including new RAQA and R&D labs, shipping & receiving areas and sales and marketing offices.
