RDK designed all building systems for fit-out of over 100,000 SF of Class A office, laboratory and manufacturing space in this new building, to serve as World Headquarters for PerkinElmer, a Global leader in health sciences and photonics. In addition to state-of-the-art R&D lab facilities, the headquarters also contains a fitness center, 2-story dining room/café, and a high-end board room with cutting-edge A/V systems. Specialized systems included dehumidification and duct distribution for labs; exhaust for lab equipment and hoods, mechanical support systems for CDA, nitrogen, NPW, etc; dedicated 24/7 supplemental cooling for the data room; and plumbing for gas piping, water, wastewater, neutralization and holding tanks.
