Commissioning

RDK defines Commissioning as the orderly process of observing and documenting the system installation and functional performance demonstration per the contract documents. Standardization is the center of RDK's approach to Building System Commissioning. Our Building Solutions Group uses a highly developed standardized system called "Commissioning 1-2-3". The checklists that are involved in this "Commissioning 1-2-3" system are the foundation of our Building Solution Process, and include standardized design review, O&M manual review, observation review checklists, prefunctional (start-up) performance test checklists, and functional performance narratives.  Additionally, our process includes the submittal of an O&M log, contractor test log, training session log, corrective action log, and pending issue log.  Our process is electronically formatted, applied by tablet computer.
