Riverwoods at Exeter

Riverwoods is a community for seniors recently retired and those needing some extra assistance. Riverwoods offers everything that seniors may want or need at their fingertips, including lounges, library, shops, restaurants, dining rooms, fitness rooms, art studios, and a beauty salon.

When RDK joined the JSA project team, Riverwoods was already in its third phase of the project. The facility workers had generated a wish-list of items they wanted to see included in the project. Keeping in mind that remaining within budget was the main priority; the team went through the list and selected items that could be implemented at no additional cost to the client. RDK and the project team were able to integrate these critical improvements into the project for optimal results. RDK’s work included mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design of systems including a central plant, lighting, telephone and data systems, piping and plumbing fixtures for kitchenettes, bathrooms, cooking kitchens, all wet areas, and a sprinkler system.
