Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) On-Call ContractsFor more than a decade, RDK Engineers has provided the Commonwealth’s Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) with prime MEP/FP Engineering On-Call Contract Services. Our work on these state-owned building projects includes countless studies, building assessments, system design and design appraisals, public bidding assistance, construction administration, and project close-out reviews. Facility types include the following: schools, college/university buildings, courthouses, hospitals, assisted living facilities, laboratories, incarceration facilities, and federal office buildings. One of RDK’s most recent and notable projects is the John W. McCormack Federal Building Elevator Modernization Project. This $5 million, three-year, multi-phase project involves extensive upgrades to the garage, service and passenger elevators and escalators within the 22-story high-rise federal building. RDK is managing a multi-disciplined team of subconsultants including architects, hazmat engineers, vertical transportation consultants, and cost estimators. The John W. McCormack Federal Building Elevator Modernization Project will result in dramatically improved vertical transportation operations, modern system functionality, and significantly reduced maintenance costs. These ADA-compliant improvements will help building employees, visitors, and the general public with overall ease of access and convenience. |
